Unity has been designed to enable charities of all sizes to benefit from running a fundraising Lottery. You will need to aim to recruit a minimum of 50 players to play your lottery.
Unity is a lottery scheme which enables fundraising organisations to join together and benefit from economies scale to provide an attractive prize fund and share administration costs.
Expected Profit
For every supporter you recruit to play your Unity Lottery you receive 50% of the proceeds as profit.

Marketing Your Lottery
We will provide you with a comprehensive marketing guide giving you advice and tips on how to promote your lottery during the launch period and how to continue to grow your membership.
Playing Your Lottery
On joining our players are issued with a randomly generated six digit number lottery number which will be unique to them whilst they are a member of your lottery. They can pay for them membership either by Direct Debt or cheque.
The Draw and Prizes
Every Saturday, the lucky winners are selected at random and the prize cheques are issued and posted directly to you, so there is no need to claim. Winners have to match 3, 4, 5, or all 6 digits of the winning number in the correct sequence.
What do I need to do to set up a Unity Lottery ?
All you need to do is register with your local authority to obtain a Society Lottery License. This costs approximately £40 for the first year and then a £20 renewal fee each year after that.
