Sterling have administered the inbound arrangements for our twice-yearly Super draws since 2009.

Our freepost reply envelopes are addressed to St Raphael’s c/o their Barrow in Furness address. Sterling receives and account for all receipts, bank the money and send us a weekly update. The hospice recently ran their Super draw to celebrate the hospices 30th Anniversary, this was the first time their draw had been administered by Sterling, the data comprised of lottery members and donors totalling 25,000 to be mailed totalling 500,000 tickets.

Ian Jones Lottery Manager said “that outsourcing the work to Sterling enabled the Lottery team to focus on promoting the draw and selling the tickets rather than getting bogged down in the administration of the draw. Sam and her team were able to answer any queries and the weekly reports arrived promptly each Friday.

Quite simply we couldn’t handle such a large project in house, we knew exactly how the draw was progressing, we had no complaints from the data base in returning the tickets direct to Sterling. The draw  went smoothly and we have had no problems in reconciling our figures with those supplied by Sterling for our Finance Department, plus the data analysis we have received will enable us to target more effectively are members in the future.

The Super draw result proved worthwhile, achieving 350% of our income target which included over £7,000 in general donations which was unexpected, the largest donation being for £2,000 plus £20 for their book of tickets.
